Not only are they able to deal with life-threatening disease or trauma, they can be intimately and powerfully involved in the quality of life of their patients. And new advances are being made all the time.

This series of films looks at the humanity within the intricate connections between the surgical prowess, hope and the uncertainty. The world the surgeons and patients exist in is a place of technology on a scifi level, mixed with hope and love - a fertile platform on which to build a musical score.
